ZTE yesterday launched a smartphone with a single-chip LTE called LTE ZTE Grand X (T82), in an event CommunicAsia 2012. ZTE Grand X LTE (T82) using the latest MSM8960 chip from Qualcomm with the latest 28 nm technology. Model single-chip is claimed to be faster and more energy efficient.
ZTE Grand X LTE (T82) running Android OS 4.0. Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-CPU core. Smartphone is also equipped with WiFi, 8 megapixel camera that supports video recording with 1080p HD resolution and a front camera that supports 720p HD video call.
ZTE uses a battery capacity of 1900mAh. Grand X LTE (T82) also has a unique design with no buttons that resemble mini-tablet PC. In the event CommunicAcia 2012, ZTE also introduce LTE tablet V96A; products TD-LTE/EDGE multi-band world’s first UFI, MF91, and LTE wireless network card MF821. V96A will be available in Europe and Asia Pacific starting from the third quarter of 2012.
ZTE Grand X LTE (T82) itself will be available in Asia Pacific and Europe in the third quarter of 2012. Unfortunately the price of Single Chip Smartphone LTE is not yet known.
