Tethering-sharing your mobile phone’s data connection with your computer-is a new feature for iPhone 3G and 3GS owners. (Tethering is not available from all carries, and many carries charge extra for tethering usage, so check with your provider first). To start a tethering connection, go to Settings: General: Network: Internet Tethering on your iPhone. You will see an on/off slider and brief direction for connecting the phone to your computer.
