Samsung First WiMAX Mobile Phone

Samsung officially launched its first WiMAX mobile to the market that claimed to be a tough competitor for HTC HD2 and other competitors. For specifications offered are not much different from the rumors could be discussed in last October.

This newest Samsung mobile phones are carried WiMAX technology (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) or broadband wireless access that have high-speed access to the very broad range.

Wimax technology is owned by Samsung SPH-M8400 will provide data transfer speeds up to 70Mbps and can reach distances of up to 8 km.  WiMAX can also be applied for the mobile internet. But unfortunately, for the moment the first Wimax phone Samsung SPH-M8400 is available for the Korean market.

Samsung SPH-M8400 is also equipped with advanced technologies that provide great performance and attractive features. Starting from the screen carrying the 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, 5MP autofocus camera, supports WCDMA networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, Broadband TV service supports T-DBM Digital Mobile TV, WiBro, WiMAX is not out of Korea and wrapped with operating system Windows Mobile 6.5.

Samsung SPH-M8400 is also claimed to have a better display which is more clear and sharp.
