Palm introduced their newest smartphone WebOS based, Palm Pixi. This smartphone was created in the holiday season  because they targeting teenagers who using Palm previous smartphone, Palm Pre.

Not only slim, this product offers a fresh design to the new features. Among the capacity for eight GB storage and a half inch screen is smaller than Palm Pre, which is 2.63 inches with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels.

As reported by Cnet News, Palm Pixi market price is estimated at about U.S. $ 100. Palm Pixi Phone equipped with a  “double ARM cores” processor which is packed in a single chip. The first core of 600MHz is used for the application process, while the second core of 400MHz is used for the modem or telephone.

Palm Pixi also use the GPU (Graphic processing unit) that supports 200MHz OpenGL 2.0, so we can play some 3D games through this qwerty phone. In addition to fruit 2 ARM processor and GPU, Palm Pixi also features 320Mhz DSP application to serve all the multimedia features.

Other features that are available pretty standard for today’s mobile phones, such as 2 megapixel camera, 320×240 pixel screen, Qwerty keypad, and 8GB of onboard memory.
