Blackberry Storm 2 Launched

Research In Motion (RIM) launched the new version of the  touch screen smartphone Storm 2. The launch marks the latest effort in the fight with the Apple iPhone. Storm 2 is known as a great tool that for us, “said RIM’s co chief executive Jim Balsillie in an interview.

The new smartphone still carry the original design with a touch screen interface that can be clicked. But the improvements made to typing faster and multitouch capabilities, which lets users type in more than one part of the screen at one time.

The phone can operate on next-generation networks and also has Wi-Fi capabilities as some other devices in the BlackBerry line.

RIM does not mention the details of certainty when the launch or price, as determined by each service provider.

The announcement was not 100% surprise. Balsillie was revealed in May that the new version of Storm in progress, given the “huge success” of the first smartphones.

Balsillie said the Storm 2 will be key to sustaining growth in the consumer market RIM retail widening of the core customers, ie business, government and other professional users.
